Victorian Neopolitan Cameo Pendant rose gold It's strung with beads ofA souvenir of Naples, 19th century style. The scene, likely an ancient site, is cameo carved from cowrie shell making excellent use of the different colour bands. It's set in silver with a gold ropetwist border, and dates from the 1880s. Era: Victorian, circa 1880 Size: 2. 5cm (including bail) by 2. 4cm Stone: Cowrie Shell Marks: None, tested as silver and 9ct gold Condition: Great antique condition; light wear consistent with age.
