as the sunlight illuminated the prairie and these rosinweed flowers during the early morning hours

I was looking to photograph the wildflowers and sunrise on this day in the park

There was one plant that I knew was in perfect condition from passing by it earlier that I wanted to photograph so

we have been having cool misty mornings which these kind of sunrises can be very dramatic

I looked for some flowers that were in perfect condition to photograph, which I didn't have to look for very long.
