I was thinking where I would photograph the sunrise and thought that the bridge over a frozen South Fork Kishwaukee River and the peachleaf willow tree would be a good place to set up the tripod

A beautiful and colorful sunrise appears in the distance as the South Fork Kishwaukee River slowly and smoothly moves along through the landscape picking up the reflections of that sunrise and trees of oak and box elder along with the dam from the busy beavers handy work at Wildflower Park

They are typically located around water sources and will perch for a short period and flutter to the next perch

which was to be misty and cool

Very picturesque
