Katanga Cross Currency 04 Pokot stools are incredibly oneThis Katanga Cross is also known as Handa and has four roughly equal arms each flaring up slightly at the ends. These crosses are made by pouring melted copper into moulds which were made in the sand. Their traditional use was as currency in the late 19th and 20th century and they take their name Katanga, a copper mining region in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Stand is included.
