The mount is based on a 1970s original; crafted in reclaimed yellow gold with a brushed matte finish and set with a domed boulder opal cabochon. We sourced the stone from the Yowah region of Queensland, Australia. It was cut on location (by hand) and displays fine seams of vivid iridescence that snake through the swirling patterns running through its ironstone matrix.
