A beautiful cool misty spring morning at the bridge over the South Fork Kishwaukee River with a view of a peachleaf willow tree as the sun breaks the horizon casting an orange hue over this area while hiking to Wildflower Lake in Northern Illinois

I began photographing the wildflowers that consisted of blue vervain

A beautiful moment as patterns from the trail and colors from the flowers and grasses become visible as I pass over Eakin Creek West at Wildflower Park

I made my way around the north end of the lake and stayed to photograph the two moose for another forty five minutes with Hallett Peak

The fragrance is enjoyable and pleasant
