The design is based on an aboriginal story of a dreamtime ceremony. The local peoples make ceremony with the intention of calling the dolphins of Bellingen Beach. The dolphins would then herd fish towards the people waiting with nets to catch the fish and then share them with the dolphins. A beautiful example of inter species hunting
