I came to a clearing with a few wildflowers in bloom and thought this would be a nice spot to set up the tripod and camera

as the morning wind swiftly moves across the surface of the lake leaving ripples behind in its wake

A moment of soft beauty takes hold of this scene during a summer sunrise at Wildflower Lake

I looked out onto the prairie and noticed a large object standing motionless

there were an abundance of them

STAR LIGHT STAR BRIGHT DIGITAL ECOTOURISM I came to a clearingA beautiful morning hiking through Starved Rock State Park. I decided to go off trail to capture the sunlight as it penetrated through to the forest floor and illuminate the autumn colors of maple, oak and hophornbeam trees of this deciduous forest in Northern Illinois. I had to wait about a half hour for the sunlight to shine through this spectacular and majestic scene. It was worth the hike and patience to capture this majestic landscape. (683 3269)
