Riding the trails in Algonquin Park was an epic adventure and when we came down a hill to this particular spot I thought I had landed on the movie set of Lord of the Rings and expected to see a few hobbits come out to greet us … It was so magical that I had to paint it

A Country Hideaway Other Landscapes This scene is inspired by20 x 16 x 1. 5 Acrylic on canvas Everything Country was what this sweet home was. Surrounded by orchards, perched atop a hill with a wonderful view to Penticton, Peachland and Summerland. This was the home I brought my children up in and eventually opened as a B&B. A place I will always remember with fondness.
