Nose: Notes of oak, oatmeal, sherry with some liquorice and fennel, with clove spice. Palate: Oatmeal on the tongue, slightly peated, with some caramel and hay with floral notes. Some sherry. Benefits from the higher abv. Finish: A short warm finish, again the abv helps.
