Fram Chenin Blanc 2023 1989 bottled in 2018 with onlyProduced by Thinus Krger, winemaker at Fram Wines, grapes for the Fram Chenin Blanc 2023 were sourced from a 1985 trellised vineyard growing on granite soil situated in Piekenierskloof in the Citrusdal Mountains. This vintage took 9 months to never even finish primary fermentation, resulting in a dense and richly layered Chenin and many sleepless nights. Matured for 12 months in a combination of old 300 , 400 and 500 litre oak barrels. Bottled at 14%.
