2017 Benedetti & Grigi "La Gaita Del Falco" Grechetto DOC Collectors Easy drinkerGrechetto is one of the most important and abundant white varietals in Umbria. Winemaker Matteo Basili crafted this well structured, unique white from 100% Grechetto fruit, hand harvested from the family vineyards. Following cold maceration for 16 hours at 8 degrees C, the wine was then fermented and aged 4 months in stainless steel and 3 months in the bottle prior to release. This soft white wine shows straw yellow in color with greenish highlights.
