German Rabbit fur Hat paper This system was introduced inThis is an original rabbit fur army hat size 57. It is in good condition. The fur is in pretty good shape also. It sheds a bit, but still seems to be holding together well overall. There are several markings inside the hat, some are certainly original but some look to me like later embellishments. Two of the stamps are hard to make out but it looks like someone was attempting to make this look like it was issued to the SS.
