He made a name for himself and the Marsala region, by elevating what was once considered a cheap cooking wine, to an aged, fine sipping treat. They also make some of the best Passito di Pantelleria around. In 1989, Marco crafted the first dry whites made from Zibibbo grapes the world had ever seen. It was a bold move; traditionally this grape was harvested
