Frankfurt / Hanau Beer Krug Salt and Pepper Shakers reproduction Motorized/mechanized units were not eligibleVintage Frankfurt a M & Hanau M. beer krug* salt and pepper shakers. These are older, but are still probably postwar. They have the Frankfurt Hanau city crest on them and a cork in the bottom. They are in good, usable condition with only light wear. The stand about 2" tall. *"Stein" is what English speakers and tourists say; the correct word is krug. In German a stein is a stone, and is not used to describe a beverage container.
