Nuevo Vergel | Maragogype Natural Colombia The result is a coffeeThis natural Red Maragogype Criollo comes from Nuevo Vergel, a small community in La Concordia, Chiapas, located at around 1750 masl within the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve. The Maragogype trees here are part of a traditional Red Maragogype line that was widely planted in Chiapas throughout the last century, before most plantings were replaced or crossed with other varieties. Today, these trees are increasingly rare. Many Maragogype populations have
