While ripening was slow and extended, harvest was fortunately complete before the first rains in early March. The chardonnay vines are naturally low yielding and planted on northeast facing, stony, clay rich slopes and are affected by the maritime weather. 96% barrel fermentation in a combination of 228 litre (56%) and 300 litre (40%) French oak barrels and 4% foudre.
