It measures about 9 1/2" by 6 1/2"

There is even a light shadow on the sleeve where there was once an edelweiss

but the ever clever Gebirgsjäger found a way to pound it into notches in trees and rocks so they could direct fire the 8cm mortar

For some reason the factory color for these is a weird green
