Daftmill 2009 Summer Release 5yo Named after the distillery ofFrom one of the newer and harder to find Scottish distilleries, this Daftmill release is one of two annual expressions from the craft Daftmill distillery in the Lowlands. Produced from optic barley harvested in the last week of August 2006 and stored on the farm to be malted in Alloa during the summer of 2007. Distilled in the first two weeks of August 2009, matured in a combination of three ex bourbon barrels and a first fill ex Oloroso sherry butt,
