This release is partly matured in custom American oak barrels that have additional grooves cut into the staves on the inside to allow the maturing whiskey to have more wood contact and thus develop deeper and more intense flavours

An official Buffalo Trace single cask bourbon, from the famed Kentucky distiller. Although not bottled at cask strength barrel proof, the individual cask would have been older and offers noticeably more complexity and nuance compared to the standard release. Only 240 bottles produced. Non chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 45%. (Bottle size 750ml)
