This was a sealed original box but customs decided to slice open the back side of the box with a box cutter which damaged the box

Bakelite Letter Box Locked Open tin The box is markedPeriod, possibly early post war, Bakelite lock letter box which is locked in the open position. The key is missing. There is some white paint on the outside. I am not sure if these are German or Czech in origin.
