If youre looking for one pack to do it all, you can certainly go bigger and have space to spare, but my problem with this strategy is that larger packs can be cumbersome when actively hiking, bumping the back of your head and catching on every branch

For light 20-pound braided line, I use a 150-size reel, but heavy 50-pound braided line calls for the greater line capacity of a 400-size reel
