A birthday or Christmas didnt go by without someone getting me a mouse of some sort jewellery, stuffed animals, porcelain figurines. It may seem surprising that it has taken me this long to make a stitched paper mouse, but I had to find the perfect vintage illustration. I finally found it in Richard Lydekker & Philip Lutley Sclaters The Royal Natural History from 1893. The mouse is 4. 75 inches across,
